3 Helpful Guides to New Years Resolutions
More often than not the #1 New Years resolution is to lose weight. On December 31st the decision is made by thousands. During January the local fitness facility is full, no machines available during peak times. Flash forward 6 weeks later, the resolution is not so resolved and the passion and purpose are no longer joined. The reason? People crave for instant results. No significant weight loss in January turns to “no resolution February.” Once again millions have tried to lose weight, made statements, purchased fitness memberships, bought new gym outfits and workout sneakers but couldn’t make it to March.
For 2010 find a system and a wokout partner that will keep you accountable with attainable bench marks. Find a system, focus and stick with it for 90 days. No fad diets, just pick a system and stick and stay for 90 days.

So very true; I was laughing as I read it. We do have a tendency to make empty New Year’s promises and losing weight has to come right at the top of that list of broken resolutions.
I agree that the best chance and hope of following through is to find someone to hold you accountable. It also takes the boredom away from having to do it all alone.
Good luck to anyone planning for a leaner you in 2010.
